Nissan GT-R 3.8 V6 6AT features a fresh frond end with a more refined rear end and new look inside. But, there are also changes on its exterior and such changes are for optimized aerodynamics. According to the Chief Product Specialist of Nissan, Hiroshi Tamura, the all new Nissan GT-R delivers a heart-pounding driving experience on any road, regardless of your driving experience. He also added that they continue to push its performance to the limit and it is even much potent compared before. Simultaneously, refinement was added to the driving experience to a new level, providing amazing performance, rich racing history, and newfound civility.
Unlike other refreshed vehicles, Nissan managed to squeeze a bit more juice out of the 3.8L V-6 of Nissan GT-R.

The V-motion grille in Nissan GTR has been improved to provide better airflow as well as engine cooling. Along with the bigger size, you will also notice that the big horizontal splitter in the middle is finished in matte chrome. On the its previous model, vertical louvers below the splitter were actually angled, yet on 2017 model, such vertical louver sit straight down and up . The black mesh, which backs grille also comes with an updated patter. Aside from an updated grille, LED fog lights were moved farther to the corner of fascia as well as integrated into the corner vents.

The new front spoiler was also added to improve downforce while simultaneously adding a sportier appearance to its front end. The hood’s vents appear to be the same, yet the bumps in the hood, which accent them are much prevalent for this year. In terms of its back, the same spoiler and decklid remain, yet the fascia itself was redesigned. Rather than having a square-like impression about its exhaust outlets, there are slanted body lines, which point towards rear diffuser.

On its inside, Nissan GT-R has a newly crafted dashboard. Hand-selected, fine Nappa leather is wrapped around the instrument and dash cluster. It was also stitched with the Takumu-style precision. Under the dashboard’s leather is a thinner material, which helps minimize the weight of the vehicle. Extra weight savings may be attributed to lighter seats.

In terms of its center console, a new eight inch capacitive touch panel monitor replaces the previous seven inch unit. The latest eight-inch display refines the interior as there are only eleven buttons on the center console, which is lesser than the model last year. There’s also a Display Command control on its center console, which enables display screen’s easy operation.

As with the models in the past, the 24-valve, 3.8L twin-turbo V-6 is known as the heart’s car. It is handcrafted by a particular technician, yet the output has increased by twenty horsepower and 4 lb ft to a total output of 565 Horsepower / 570 PS. To  attain the boost in power, it is also said that the turbochargers’ boost was improved and ignition timing for every cylinder is individually controlled.
