The latest 8-Series concept of BMW has finally been unleashed, and people cannot help but to express their admiration for the resurrected coupe.
Made to serve as a previous for the new 8-Series Coupe, this concept can best be described as a luxurious sports car embodying both modern luxury and unadulterated dynamics.
Boasting of more athletic looks compared to the Gran Lusso Coupe, the concept of the 8-Series is a looker, with its stylish two-door model featuring an aggressive front fascia combined with a big twin-kidney grille. This is also made better with the laser headlights, carbon fiber front splitter, and the massive air intakes
At the back, prepare to be in awe of its flowing body work, 21-inch lightweight alloy wheels, and long hood. The concept showcases muscular rear wheel arches, a sporty roofline, and front fender vents as well. Some other notable highlights include the carbon fiber rear diffuser flanked by the dual exhaust system and trapezoidal tailpipes.
A quick look inside and you will know right away that it has finally departed from the conventional BMWs. This one has decided to go for a minimalist design, with the layout focusing more on the driver’s part. Part of the focus is the installation of the exclusive sports seats with the finest leather upholstery and carbon-fiber shell. The steering wheel is also custom made, with red anodized shift paddles and hand polished aluminum spokes. The concept also includes an iDrive display, a digital instrument cluster, and lots of carbon fiber trim.
BMW refused to reveal the power that will be used although the production model is going to arrive the following year, with trademark applications suggesting that this will boast of a turbocharged 3.0 liter 6-cylinder engine, turbocharged 6.6-liter V12 from M760Li xDrive, and a turbocharged 4.4-liter V8.
