If you think that you can only sail on a yacht on the waters, you better think again. With Bentley Continental GT Convertible Galene, you can finally take your boat to town, but this time, it’s a boat with wheels.
For the longest time, yacht owners always dreamed of taking their multi-million dollar ocean cruise on land. After all, the moment you step on land, you will just be another car owner like the rest of them. Well, the good news is that you don’t have to worry anymore. The bespoke Mulliner division of Bentley has stepped up with their new yacht inspired Continental GT Convertible that will surely match your water vessel.
This new vehicle is none other than the Galene Edition, which was named after the Greek goddess of the calms seas. This definitely looks serene, more so because of its standard paint of Glacier White. As a contrast to the pearl paint is the handsome Sequin Blue stripe running down the vehicle’s lower body length, which mixes well with its dark blue cloth top. In the four corners, you will see the polished Propeller wheels of 21 inches rounding out the entire design.
A quick look inside Galene, you will see the light colored taupe and white seating surfaces which are a perfect contrast with the caramel stitching as well as the dash of bluish gray hue with caramel inserts. Mulliner also came up with a special open pore wood for this yacht-inspired ride, a latest Pinstripe Walnut trim evoking the usual deck design you can find in yachts. If you don’t still find it aquatic enough, you can always commission Jaume Vilardell’s special super yacht illustration on its passenger side fascia panel.
Even though it is a representation of wealth and excess, the Galene is being powered by an Audi-sourced 4.0-liter twin-turbo V-8. Its power I also impressive with 487 pound feet of torque and 500 hp.
