Despite the earlier debut of the all-new luxury sedan 2019 K900 during the New York Auto Show, fans in United States are yet to get their hands on it.
The good news is that its commercial debut is just around the corner, and as a teaser, Kia released more details about their flagship complete with a comprehensive photo gallery. The bad news? Pricing isn’t announced yet and is said to be revealed once the on-sale date draws closer in the fourth quarter of the year.
Kia stated that the new luxury sedan doesn’t resemble its predecessor aside from its K900 name. This is because this new vehicle has a whole new look, character, and feel. Two trim levels will be available for the 2019 model, namely the VIP Package and V6 Luxury. Kia also added that the V6 Luxury is amazingly well equipped although they didn’t disclose its standard features. But, it reveals that VIP Packages comes with a 12.3” full TFT LCD instrument, ventilated and power-adjustable rear seats, 3-zone automatic climate control, Premium headliner, and rear seat wireless charging.
Both K900 grades highlight the same powertrain, which is a 3.3L twin-turbo V6 sourced from Stinger GTfastback sports sedan. The engine is engineered with an 8-speed automatic transmission and rated at 376 pound-foot or 509Nm and 365 horsepower.
In terms of safety features, 2019 K900 boasts for having Advanced Driver Assistance Systems of Kia. This pack includes Advanced Smart Cruise Control, Lane Follow Assist, Safe Exist Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Avoidance Assist, Driver Attention Warning, Forward Collision Avoidance Assist, Lane Keep Assist System, Blind Spot View Monitor, and Surround View Monitor.
The all-new 2019 Kia K900 will be made in South Korea. It will be built in Kia’s Sohari plant where Stinger was manufactured.
