This modern world has been blessed with cars that have been made to have the speed of supercars or even better. The Audi RS7 Sportback is the perfect example of this. With no outside intervention whatsoever, it easily hits 62 mph or 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds. If you find it still slow, don’t worry because you can go at 3.3 seconds thanks to ABT and their newest unit for engine control that can lift the output of the twin-turbo 4.0-L V8 to 690 HP per 515 kW and 649 lb-ft or 880 Nm of peak torque.
This is 99 hp / 74 kW or 100 PS and 59 lb-ft or 80 Nm jump over its stock executive model. For comparison purposes the 601 HP / 449 kW or 610 PS Lamborghini Huracan Coupe can go from 0 to 60 mph or 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds, topping out at more than 201 mph or 325 km/h. According to ABT, the internal testing they conducted both in the lab and on the road reveals that the Audi RS7’s engine can easily withstand the additional oomph that comes with Germany’s TUV certification.
As for now, you might need to cope with this power boost as far as the new RS7 is concerned since the rest of the components, including the range of alloy wheels that comes in different finishes, patterns, and sizes are still under development at the tuner.
