The Ariel Atom-based supercar, the Beast, is no doubt the best known model from Rezvani. This time around, the budding coach builder decided to turn its signs on Raptor and Wrangler enthusiasts with the launch of the Tank, the company’s extreme off-road ride.
The Jeep Wrangler served as the inspiration for this SUV which features a variety of remarkably ridiculous add-ons that you will most likely see on an Army MRAP, which include thermal cameras, night vision, bullet-resistant Kevlar armor, and even a B6 glass all around and Kevlar constructed fuel tank.
A few other oddities include the 500 hp from the SRT-sourced 6.4 liter V-8, and the suicide style doors at the rear. Sadly, a Helicat option is not yet included for now.
As far as the exterior is concerned, the Tank notably resembles its military inspiration as it features very knobby off-road tires of 57 inches, high ground clearance, Fox Racing’s remote reservoir shocks of 2.5 inches, and an axle set of Dynatrac ProRock44/60 complete with the E-Lockers.
But if the exterior is multi-faceted, the opposite can be said about its interior which is fairly basic, with the Jeep Wrangler origins being on full display since the entire dash also has an identical appearance to the one you can find at your nearest Jeep dealerships.
One notable change though is that the rear and front seats are equipped with the leather seats that are hand-stitched, a new head up display, a suede headliner, and central infotainment system of 7.9 inches.
According to the maker, the initial price of the Tank is at $178,000 with planned delivery date later this year. Rezvani says that they will take the orders now with $1,000 deposits required.
If you are looking for something capable and flashy at the same time, the Rezvani Tank can surely live up to expectations.
