The 2019 Ferrari 488 Pista is finally unveiled, and people cannot gush over all the latest tweaks and improvements.
The hardcode version of Ferrari of the 488 GTB was finally unveiled as the latest 488 Pista. This car has recently made its debut during the 2018 Geneva International Motor Show wherein Ferrari also dropped some other new details.
Of course, for those who don’t know it yet, Pista is an Italian word that means track, and a track is definitely the best place where you will love to spend all your time driving this car.
The 2019 Ferrari 488 Pista gets its power from the familiar 3.9-L twin-turbocharged V-8 that has been tuned to provide a total of 710 hp as well as a 568 lb-ft. of torque, which is better than the 560 pound feet and 660 horsepower of the 488 GTB. Strangely, the numbers of Pista are an exact match with the ones of McLaren 720S. After all, imitation is and will always be the sincerest kind of flattery.
Thanks to the perfect combination of less weight and more power, the 488 Pista can sprint to as much as 62 mph in just a matter of 2.8 seconds, topping out at 211 mph. Meanwhile, the 488 GTB requires 3.0 seconds to reach 62 mph, topping out at 205 mph. Owners of LaFerrari don’t have to worry that 488 Pista will be faster like the Ferrari hypercar lapping Fiorano test track 1:19.70. The same feat can be achieved by 488 Pista with 1:21.5.
