Lexus provides F Sport trim on numerous vehicles which focus on the improvement of chassis dynamic with no addition of extra power. The latest model from Lexus that will receive such treatment is none other than the brand new LS flagship sedan.
The Lexus LS 500 F Sport is not meant to be most performance oriented Lexus model that you can find in the market right now, since this has been reserved for the F models such as the RC F and GS F. What you can expect instead is that this car is all about making the feel and look of the car a bit livelier, and the company was able to accomplish it with the combination of aesthetics, and for some models, there are also some extra parts upgrades.
The exterior of the LS F Sport ramps up the sporting pretensions with the rocker panels, a new spindle grille, trunk moldings, and the F Sport badges. There is also a brand new set of alloy wheels of 20 inches, an ultra white paint job that is unique to this model.
Lexus provides the interior an additional dose of sportiness with some unique seats with perforated pattern. F Sport also comes with unique aluminum trim and an extraordinary steering wheel with trick gauge cluster, which moves around to display information. If you have seen gauges in RC F, it is basically the same setup. The alterations in its interior are finish off with an ultra-suede headliner and aluminum pedals.
Once you apply the trim of F Sport to LS 500 with its 415hp gas V6, you may add F Sport Handling Package that adds variable ratio electric power steering, aggressive air suspension, and rear-axle steering.
2018 Lexus LS 500 F Sport will debut at the New York Auto Show this year and would go on sale later this year as well.
